The Plant Quality & Food Safety (QFS) Team Leader/Manager will be part of a dedicated team leading and implementing the QFS activities for the defined locations. This position will be responsible for managing the QFS team at locations, developing the quality & food safety documents based on global vision & policies to ensure the quality & food safety system operated effectively, satisfy the customer requirements and meet the local / export regulations.

Your Responsibilities
• Ensure the quality & food safety management system (including ISO 9001:2015, ISO 22000:2018, FAMI QS, HACCP and GMP) is developed, implemented, maintained, updated and improved in the location.
• Follow the company rule in term of health, safety, and environment. Give awareness on safety to all the people within the team and give suggestions for the improvements of the system.
• Communicate, follow-up job expectations and ensure the policies and procedures implemented, maintained.
• Ensure all data provided are accurate and correct.
• Inspect and audit periodically or suddenly the level of implementation of current quality & food safety management systems.
• Support Quality & Food safety teams between locations.
• Ensure the quality & food safety of products from raw materials, processes to finished goods comply with regulations and standards
• Cooperate with related departments to communicate and solve significant QFS events & regulatory issues.
• Propose the actions / solutions to Country QFSM if finding or happening any potential major risks to affect adversely the quality and food safety of products.
• Propose all needed equipments, tools and materials in QFS team to be available for use.
• Ensure the qualification and competency of team members.
• Suggest system improvements, identify and resolve problems and concerns related to quality & food safety.
• Maintain and improve product safety and quality through regular audits and investigate product complaints and non-conformities within the operation and self-inspections in order to reduce the cost of poor quality.
• Can take responsibility as a QC to assure the controlling RM & FP is always performed as rules and procedures
• Lead the meeting between departments to discuss and correct food safety and quality issues.
• Maintain and improve product safety and quality through regular audits and investigate product complaints and non-conformities within the operation and self-inspections in order to reduce the cost of poor quality.
• Accomplish the objectives of QFS headcount by selecting, orienting, training, assigning, coaching, counseling and encouraging team members.
• Directly follow up projects which serve the strategy of QFS department & CoE
• Propose Country QFS Manager opening internal and/or external training courses related to quality management system, standards, food safety and quality knowledge and soft skills.
