Principal Software Engineer

As a Principal Software Engineer, you will:

Lead many initiatives in designing and implementing product features to grow our business. You can work deeply in your area of expertise (frontend, backend, data), while touching other areas as needed. Or you can choose to work as a full-stack at all fronts without any limitations.
Responsible for the service quality, be on-call as needed for service maintenance.
Act as a leader in driving business impacts. For example, some of our successful projects delivered by a technical leader are: building a new framework for service monitoring, developing a completely new UI for our brand customers, building a new automation flow to fully automate all logistic operations, optimizing search and improving personalization for better conversions, implementing a new automated testing system, writing internal tools for the speed of development, designing the platform for flexibility, stability and scalability.
Work with Product, Sales, Marketing and Operation team to make our products fast, seamless and easy-to-use for our customers.
Represent core company values in the technology organization with a focus on transparency, innovation, tenacity and data-driven.

5+ years in an engineering position with proven track records.
Strong verbal and written communication skills in English.
Strong expertise working with open-source frameworks. Some of the technologies we use include Java, Python, Nodejs, React, PostgreSQL, Elasticsearch and Kubernetes.
A high level of energy, motivation, initiative, commitment, and professionalism.
An excellent critical thinker, but also very biased towards actions.
You are excited to join the early team and can operate in a fast-growth, high-potential environment with constant change. We run things with confidence, but we don’t have any certainty.
Strong leadership skill. Not afraid to speak up when it is needed, very focus on the team&039;s goals instead of personal goals.
Having a consistent track record of personal growth.
This is NOT a management position. Involvement deeply in the tech stack is expected.
