Process Engineer

Job purpose:
Engineering new and existing processes with their variables in order to improve them - process specific
Automation optimization ideas and proposal
The Process Engineer will be responsible for developing and implementing process strategies, managing process resources, optimizing current processes, and maintaining process documents. Ultimately, your job is to maintain/improve the efficiency of production in order to reduce costs.
Feedbacking efficiency key figures to the planning department for new planning
Optimizing existing process to be more (cost-) efficient
Scope
Checking the production´s efficiency key figures and making optimization proposals
Job description
Set up and improve all production conditions (jig, mold, tool,…) to improve production efficiency.
Drafting, designing, and testing process ideas to reduce costs and improve production efficiency
Coordinate relevant departments to solve all issues of production related to the production process
Support manufacturing on continuous improvement activities
Developing standardized operating instructions for the upgrades process.
Other tasks assigned by the Manager
Set up the production process for a new product with the highest efficiency

Written and spoken English
Computer skills with MS office software such as word, excel, PowerPoint, outlook
Able to use Auto cad software, able to use other software is a plus
Communication, analytical, negotiation, and training skills
Bachelor of Engineering. Applicants with Process Management, Industrial engineering, wood processing, and related field degree backgrounds with one to two years of working experience will be an added advantage.
