Provide assurance to the management and Chief Financial Officer of full compliance with company’s internal
policies and procedures, including but not limited to Code of Business and Corporate Ethics, Combating
Corruption, Procurement LND’s and procedures, Risk Management and Internal Control System, Internal
Audits, with a primary focus on Procurement and Finance activities.
Procurement compliance
Regularly monitor, audit and evaluate procurement and finance related processes across the
company and complete value chain from order to pay to ensure compliance with respective policies,
practices and standards.
Seek, recommend, and implement improvements to the Procurement and finance related
processes.
Monitor procurement compliance trends; including developing, maintaining, and delivering
procurement compliance training.
Help ensure that Procurement operates ethically and in strict compliance with procurement
regulations and law
Support PSCM function in drafting, modifying and implementing company’s procurement compliance
policies. Provide inputs and suggestions to company’s policies focusing on the elements of
compliance.
Assisting Management in Developing / Revising procurement procedures, reports etc. periodically to
identify hidden risks or non-conformity issues
Stay abreast of new trends and innovations in the field of procurement compliance and recommend
process improvements of procurement compliance policies, procedures
Interface with Procurement management and staff along with operational and functional managers,
having the role of procurement initiators.
Interface with procurement, budget owner and other personnel responsible for contract management
with the purpose to ensure full compliance with Vietnam’s procedures and efficiency of
contract managers. This includes periodical review of invoices.
Business Compliance and Ethics
Organize the C&E induction to new staff/contractors. Periodically organize C&E training and updates
to Code of Business Conduct, if any, in according to requirements of LNDs. Hold campaigns
to raise the C&E awareness and alert on the C&E highlighted events.
Assisting CFO to provide advisory support to Vietnam employees on issues of execution
and application of the Code provisions.
Organize annual Business Ethics Certification process.
Maintain the Gift & Entertainment & Government Hosting, Conflict of Interest registration system on
the intranet including support users in registration and consult on specific case, prepare the
quarterly report of G&E, GH and COI to submit to Head office.
Supporting Vietnam management in other compliance and internal control matters as necessary.
