Procurement Supervisor

Research suppliers/vendors, prepare documentation of procurement cycle, including request for quotation, and purchase order follow-up processes and products delivery.
Compile requisitions, purchase orders and billing documents in accordance with code of authority for purchasing.
Compile and keep track quotations and the cost breakdown from suppliers or comparison.
Liaise with Accounting Department and with on-site inspections/rejections.
Monitor and prepare report on suppliers’ performances
Check and review planned orders, create purchase order for purchased items.
Compile and report contract performance, including delivery, acceptance, warranty, damages, and insurance (if any) to ensure protection to the Company from any damage, risk of supply shortage, cost increase and market changes
Study purchasing trends, cost changes and undertake necessary analysis from time to time so as to provide useful information to relevant improve costs, sourcing strategy and purchasing decisions.
Perform other duties as assigned from time to time.
Advise internal and external parties on issues regarding purchasing terms and conditions.
Responsible in controlling purchasing activity to get the best quality products/ingredients at the most competitive prices.
Maintain relationship with vendors or suppliers and negotiate contract for major purchases.
