In this role, you will:
Drive improvements in business profitability through the implementation of standardized metric based management process covering all aspects of product performance including cost accounting and risk management;
Driving effective interaction across organizational boundaries, including sales, client services, marketing, operations, Information Technology (IT), Legal, Business Risk Control Management (BRCM), Finance, and Compliance to deliver optimized customer experiences;
Contribute to the implementation and monitoring of the application of GLCM policies, governance frameworks, procedures, practices and standards to ensure quality, effective risk management and regulatory compliance.
Develop and drive specific commercialization activities creating tools to support sales and client service teams in educating and marketing our global Product capabilities;
Align and prioritize Information Technology (IT) Investment requirements during the Annual Operating Plan (AOP) planning process for the products/solution under his/her coverage;
Communicate and adhere to HSBC policy and procedures in order to ensure good operational, financial and project management, policy and procedural compliance and early identification and effective resolution or escalation of issues that arise;
Contribute to the development, implementation and maintenance of GLCM management information, analysis and reporting framework that supports and informs timely and effective business management and decision making at all levels;
Drive development of product innovation roadmaps to maintain/enhance product proposition via conducting market/client and competitor research;
Ensure consistent approach to implementing tariffs applicable for the relevant products;
Encourage and enable constructive cross-country and cross-business teamwork by demonstrating collaboration and matrix management in action and challenging actions and behaviors that are not consistent with HSBC&039;s diversity policy and/or the best interests of the business and its customers;
Drive development of product plans/strategies via execution of all aspects of the program development, product life cycle management including market demands, technology trends and competitive landscape;
Participating in the existing GLCM projects covering the launch of solutions under CEO funding sponsorship and other relevant Strategic Business Outlook Projects;
Develop and recommend changes and improvements to operating models, procedures and practices based on subject matter expertise and understanding of HSBC and market best practice;
