Production Manager

Summary:

The production manager position will be in charge of ensuring qualified products to meet the exacting demands of international customers
The production manager has the responsibility of all the production departments including Planning - Operation and Quality Mangaement. The position will require a full understanding of solid wood or flooring manufacturing techniques.

Main duties:

Responsilbe for Production planning, Production control, Quality control
Support internal set up of proper arrangement to use of available resources, men, money, machines, materials and methods of production inside the factory
Oversee the production process from planning to finishing products
Review work performance
Measure the level of performance of work by a worker and suggest an improvement
Work with management to implement the company’s policies and goals
Responsilbe for all activities of production department and support relevant ones
Closely work with inventory department to make production plan and determine economic order size, maximum, minimum, average and danger levels of materials
Ensure that production is cost effective
Some responsibilities like: cost control, standardisation and storage, price analysis and provision of wage incentives to workers etc.
Estimate costs and set quality standards
Be responsible for the selection and maintenance of machinery
Supervise and motivate a team of workers
Play a key role in the quality control and review processes to continually improve.

Proficient in MS Office and communication skills
Excellent organizational and leaderships skills
Understanding of quality standards and health & safety regulations
Technical Bachelor Degree or higher- 10 years&039; working experience in manufacturers; at least 3 years as Production Manager or Operation Manager
Deep knowledge of wood or flooring production management
Working in wood manufacturing companies is a big plus- Good at English or Chinese language
Strong decision-making skills and a results-driven approach
Knowledge of performance evaluation and budgeting concepts
