Professional Power Coating Engineer (Expert Level)

*Description:
We’re looking for Professional Powder Coating Engineer (Expert level) responsible to ensure various painting techniques, which will include but are not limited to, powder coat, wet paint spraying and several other techniques on various materials. Material preparation such as sand-blasting, cleaning, dipping, masking, among other techniques, is required to obtain optimum efficiency to meet customer expectations for quality and on-time delivery.
An US publicly traded company in Nasdaq stock market with approx. $2B market cap that serves a variety of HVAC end markets through 5 operating companies.
* Responsibilities & Duties
- Troubleshoot the coating issues
- Prepare parts for coating, setup and develop powder coat processes for new jobs all while following principles and practices of powder coating application
- Ensure safety guidelines are being met to assure a safe work environment
- Determine paint flow, micrometer, and coating quality by performing visual inspections or by using micrometer and masking methods
- Bake parts at appropriate temperatures within time limitations to ensure that all components are produced/coated efficiently, and are consistent with company established goals for quality and timely customer orders
- Operate all coating equipment including guns, hoppers, and booth collection systems

*Requirements
- Fluent in English and Vietnamese (required). Must be able to communicate clearly and directly with the US team
- Strong work ethic and ability to adapt quickly
- Strong background in powder coating and industrial painting
- Collaborative, proactive attitude. Strong problem-solving skills
- Bsc in Industrial Engineering, Operation Management, Chemical Engineering, Mechanical Engineering or any related
- 10+ years of related experience and knowledge of thermosetting resin coatings, wash and pretreatments
