Program Manager

Plan the overall program and monitor the progress;
Define the program governance (controls);
Ensure program plans meet business needs as described in the program initiation documents;
Ensures all stakeholders are identified and included in scope definition activities and understand the program schedule and key milestones;
Evaluates subordinates&039; performance and makes recommendations for pay increases, promotions, terminations, and other personnel actions;
Ensures all areas of the program are appropriately staffed and monitors program commitment from those assigning resources;
Ensures essential procedures are followed and contributes to defining standards
Support planning, directing and coordination of day-to-day activities of running a program or portfolio of programs;
Creates the program risk management plan, appropriately assess risk when business decisions are made and escalates program risks to the Head of PMO, Portfolio leaders or business/product partners;
Makes recommendations for training and development needs for assigned personnel;

Strong people skills to coordinate work and enable collaboration across teams; strong communication skills to manage stakeholders and work effectively with the Senior Management team or board of executives;
Strong leadership and management skills;
The ability and experience in managing dependencies across multiple teams/portfolio;
Good knowledge of resource allocation procedures; and
Deep working knowledge of Agile best practices;
Experienced in change management, Agile and Scrum methodologies;
The ability to find innovative ways to resolve problems.
At least 5+ years of experience in program management or project management in software development industry with proven records in managing multiple projects across function/portfolios/squads;
Good knowledge and handling of project and program management methodology and techniques;
