Competencies:
• Advanced written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to write clear contractual letters, make presentations, chair meetings, make reports and meeting minutes that are clear and understandable.
• Degree international education background qualified in Engineering
• Advanced technical abilities in project management, with the ability to train and mentor others to develop further their skills in tendering, contract management, safety, quality management, planning and scheduling, contractor management and budgetary control.
• Should be a holder of Project Management and Construction Management Supervision license - Grade 1
• Advanced working knowledge of software used in project management including Microsoft Project (preferred) ACAD (at least able to read and operate basic functions) Team Binder, Excel and the Microsoft Office Suite (required)
• Demonstrated advanced budgetary and planning management to ensure projects are maintained within budget and timeframes, delays are avoided, and additional fees are able to be negotiated for out-of-scope work.
• A minimum of 6 years&039; experience managing multicultural project teams in an expatriate environment either in Asia, the Middle East, Africa or South America.
• Construction Management qualifications (CIOB, etc) is an advantage
• Advanced attention to detail, particularly in respect to contractual requirements.
• Fluency in written and spoken English is a pre-requisite.
• A minimum of 10 years managing large scale projects or multiple smaller scale projects simultaneously and at different phases, and management of project teams, experience in Real estate (high-rise preferred).
• 10+ year&039;s experience in Project Management including a minimum of 8 year&039;s experience in a Project Management Consulting environment.
• Advanced leadership skills, ensuring teams are well motivated, organized, able to provide clear direction and manage conflict.
• Project Management qualifications (PMP, IPMA, Prince 2, etc) is an advantage
• Advanced client management skills, including demonstrable high levels of persuasiveness, negotiation skills and inter-personal skills.
