Project Manager - New Product Development (03 Headcounts) - Working in Hanoi

- Accountable for the facilitating and recording cross-functional vehicle/program decisions.
- Develop and maintain master timing for whole organization.
- Manage vehicle change control
- Coordinate on-site cross functional resources to support launch.
- Coordinate and resolve program conflicts. Drive countermeasures for all significant issues in the program
- Collaborate with Vehicle Chief Engineer, R&D, CAE, Testing & Validation, Purchasing and cross functions to build up new vehicles to meet product qualification, quality objectives within timeframe given and under program budget.
- Internal & external stake holders management
- Manage contract with engineering partners, part suppliers
- Lead Management reviews.
- Lead Plan for Every Part.
- Other tasks assigned by Leadership team

Education/ Professional knowledge:
- Bachelor/Master Degree in Engineering (Mechanical/Automobile/Electrical)
Skill, Experience:
- Demonstrated ability to perform successfully in multi-national relationships.
- Proven ability to coordinate cross-functional teams.
- Strong problem solving skills and the ability to grasp and effectively use technical concepts and technical information.
- Relevant experience in automotive industry, especially in new project launching.
- Highly motivated, self-starter, and active learner with strong interpersonal, communication, written and oral skills.
- 5+ years’ experience in a Planning or Project Management role, and a strong technical and financial mindset.
- PC experience to include Microsoft Access, Excel, Word, and Power Point required.
- Leadership experience preferred but not essential.
STANDARD COMPETENCY:
- High level operational experience in the use of MS Project
- Understanding of basic manufacturing processes (automotive preferred but not essential).
- Ability to present to Senior Leadership Team.
- Competent in English, both written and verbal.
- Ability to develop a Business Case to support a manufacturing based project.
- Ability to develop strategies, gain approval and put a plan in place to implement.
