Project Manager

JOB SUMMARY
The Project Manager will lead a project team and work closely with other site operations to meet project schedule. This is a senior level position to Commissioning Management, works will be predominantly site based.
The Project Manager, reporting to the Country Manager / Regional Director and working as part of the commissioning team shall be responsible in the managing the project progression and working closely with our Clients, in ensuring the expectations, works, procedures and deadlines are met.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
• Handles the provision of monthly and close out project reports to Country Manager / Regional Director
• Maintain and update all schedules and tracking documents on a monthly basis
• Handles project scheduling and monthly resource allocation
• Review of project staff Time Sheets / Expenses to ensure budget is in control
• Track development and testing and supervise implementation works
• Provide management, advises, guidance (& onsite training) of project resources
• Chair project commissioning meetings with Clients
• Prepare commissioning schedule and tracking sheets to monitor progress
• Technically responsible for delivery of service in accordance with Company / Client expectations
• Retain full understanding of contractual scope and identify extra-to-contract works.
• Key task input where required (Design Reviews, MS, FAT, HLT and IST)
• Provision of monthly (project) progress report to clients
• Define project objective / scope, plan project milestones, gather business requirements, strategies and approach
• Maintain the role of a Lead Commissioning Engineer, representing Company for major projects.

• Good presentation skills and ability to deal with Clients, Senior Management and Engineers at sites
• Hands-on, energetic, independent, and committed individual
JOB REQUIREMENTS
• Able to work extended hours and "out-of-hours" dependent on the requirements of the project
• Ability to lead a team of Commissioning Managers in delivering scope according to milestone and budgets.
• Fundamental knowledge on project management principles
• Capable of managing lengthy periods of concentration and elevated stress levels
• Physically fit and capable of manual labour as required
Education & Training
• Portraits influential leadership traits / skills to lead
• Degree or Master in Mechanical or Electrical Engineering with 10 years related field experiences
• Good technical engineering background
• Successful and excellent Project Management track records
Others
• Good command in spoken and written English
• Computer literate - Microsoft Office
