Purchasing Executive

• Check the actual stock in warehouse before raising a PO to the supplier.
• Monitor pending Purchase Order delivery schedules and advise relevant departments of the status on a regular basis.
• Negotiate with suppliers for the unit price if required.
• Receives and screens the Purchase Request.
• Cross check the quotations received from Sourcing team against the calculated cost from costing department.
• Sending approved Purchase Orders to Suppliers and seeking schedule of delivery.
Working closely with Sourcing, Planning department, Warehouse.
• Mitigate issues that may occur and report to the Purchasing Manager if any deviation to the standard policies and procedure.
• Inform own Supplier on payment status.
• Request for transportation for transferring materials
• May source and develop materials from time to time.
• Coordinate with the factory regarding transfer of materials
• Facilitate re-ordering for any shortage or stock replenishment.
• Facilitates the return or replacement of failed goods to Suppliers and Contractors.
• Receives and screen any change request to a confirmed Purchase Order and facilitate the change.

• Progressive spirit, willing to share and learn from others;
• Experience in using ERP is appreciated
• Sharp and well-organized
• 3 years experience in local or overseas purchasing/sourcing material for manufacturing industry.
• Good Excel skills
• Careful, hard-working, responsible and disciplined;
• Positive attitude and target oriented;
• Good English communication skills
• Experience in purchasing/sourcing material for footwear/garment is a plus.
• Good collaboration and team-work mindset;
• Ability to work in a high-pressure environment
• Good interpersonal and analytical skill;
