Purchasing Supervisor - F&B

- Execution of timely delivery, cost effectiveness, and quality procurement standards

- Ordering of consumable, non-consumable and retail products.

- Management of Back Office inventory system.

- Ensure that Cost of Goods is in line with cafe goals.

- Ensure that all products align with the Product Manual & specifications

- Proper stocking of deliveries to ensure they are placed in proper rotation.

- Build relationships with vendors.

- Manages running inventory in both Binh Duong warehouse (retail and food) and sends forecast to local distributor for imported food

- Works closely with accounting and legal department on scheduled payment and contracts.

- Updated on new government division laws and regulations on business license and importation.

- Manages food safety testing and inspections.

- Manages ordering process for overseas procurements: which includes placing orders, following up that orders are received and being processed by supplier, liaising shipment with shipper and ensuring that deliveries are on time.

- Understand Import/Export procedure, shipping term and tax exemption (C/O Form) and its application.

- Work with overseas vendors to prepare document for customs clearance.

- Coordinate with Forwarder to handle issues pertaining to customs clearance.

- Submits monthly usage report to different department heads

- Coordinate food, beverage and supply purchases between operations departments.

- Present a professional image to employees, guests, clients, owners and investors.

- Operate ethically to protect the image of Hard Rock.

- Highly self-motivated with the desire to improve the quality and cost of consumable products. He/she must also exhibit the assertiveness necessary to negotiate with vendors to ensure quality and cost of procured food items.

- Detail Oriented

- The independence to complete tasks timely without intervention from other department members.

- Must possess strong communication and listening skills, excellent speaking, reading and writing.

- Comprehend and use technical or professional language, either written or spoken, to communicate complex ideas.

- Ability to effectively present information in one-on-one and small group situations to customers, clients, and other employees of the organization.

- Multiple language abilities a plus, fluency in English required.

- Organized and driven. Ability to manage responsibility with minimum supervision

- Knowledge in Food, Beverage and Retail a plus
