Purchasing Supervisor

· Responsible in following with the Directorate of Customs keeping customs receipts, renewed and updated.
· Maintain and update market list for daily ordering
· Fully in charge of the day to day purchases for all departments in the hotel.
· To purchase urgent items required from other countries when not available locally.
· Responsible in maintaining a good relationship with all suppliers, keeping a polite and professional attitude at all times.Ensures products and resources are assigned to the appropriate department and billed accordingly
· Runs errands for the Purchasing Manager/Assistant Purchasing Manager.
· Clears imported goods from the airport as and when required.
· Identifies and develops reliable sources of supply
· To follow up with all department orders with suppliers and update accordingly.

Education:

Diploma or Vocational Certificate in Accounting or Business Administration or related field.

Knowledge and skills:
Good writing skills
Demonstrated ability to interact with customers, employees and third parties that reflects highly on the hotel, the brand and the Company.
Proficient in the use of Microsoft Office

1 year experience in an accounting clerical, purchasing, front office, or reservations position or similar; or an equivalent combination of education and work experience
