QA Manager

Leading QA department:
- Leading activities and responsibilities of QA department at factory,
- Assign job to team QA members ensure QMS system is implemented,
- Manage activities of HACCP team to ensure HACCP system is maintained and updated.
Quality management system:
- Participate into HSE team to ensure factory is complied with related regulations
- Establish, implement and improve quality management system to comply with requirements (GFSI recognized standard),
- Liaison with related internal departments to develop, implement and maintain documented QMS,
- Investigate non-conformity & follow up corrective actions,
- Ensure QMS, HACCP are updated to changes.
- Liaison with related external parties to achieve and maintain Food Safety & Quality certifications,
Product specification compliance:
- Lead QC and liaise with Production to ensure product’s quality meet customer’s expectation,
- Analysis trends / issue for continuous improvement in specification compliance.
- Monitor specification compliance to feedback production,
Food safety legislation compliance:
- Ensure produced products are met local food regulation as well as food safety regulation at destination countries,
- Ensure related food legislations are updated and communicate to QA & HACCP team.
Training:
- Liaise with production to train and ensure operators/workers whose work reflects to food safety /critical control points are adequate trained.
- Ensure basic food safety practices are trained to new staff and refresh training,
- Ensure competency of QA team to implement and maintain quality & food safety system,
Reporting:
- Report development and implementation of QMS progress to Plant Manager and Vietnam QA Manager
- Others, if required
- Report product specification compliance to Plant Manager and Vietnam QA Manager
- Report performance/ effectiveness of corrective actions to Plant Manager and Vietnam QA Manager
Process control: Liaise with production to validate, verify process controls. 8/ Development projects:
- Liaise with related department in development projects or any improvement/ change at
Factory.
- Review HACCP & QMS when new product/ packaging/ ingredient development
- Coordinate with related departments in projects development or any improvement/ change at factories
- Other duties are assigned by direct report.
- Review HACCP & QMS when new product/ packaging/ ingredient development.

Education:
• Have certificate(s) related to food safety.
• Graduated from a university or college food safety
Experience:
• Practical knowledges related to food safety
• Candidate with at least 05 years working in food Safety in factory, out of which 2 years should be in a managerial role.
Functional Skills:
• Possess a strong working knowledge of quality control processes including
• Good understanding of integrated management systems for Food Safety
• Have knowledge and understanding of the ability to review and interpret and apply Food Safety legislation, standards and regulatory guidance material
• Have the ability to establish agreement and consensus with plant leadership and effectively engage primary employees, in food safety.
• Understanding of the interpretation and application of HACCP & QMS.
• Have knowledge of current food safety issues, methodologies and practices.
• Possess a strong knowledge of Food safety
Competencies:
• Good in root cause analysis and risk assessment
• Good motivational and influencing skills
• Intermediate level or higher in Microsoft Office suite
• Creative and innovative in application of food safety systems
• Demonstrated coaching and development skill
• Ability to influence key personnel
• Passionate about Food Safety
• Knowledge of local law requirements for food safety
