QC Supervisor

PURPOSE OF POSITION:
• Proactively plan, lead, supervise and control resource related production.
• Assist in the control and monitoring of repairer refurbish Loscam wooden pallet to a fit for purpose standard.
• Proactively plan, lead, supervise and control product quality at Lai Thieu Depot site to achieve assigned targets.
PRINCIPAL ACTIVITIES:
• Pallet quality control
Reduce customer’s complaint, keep tracking quality historical data and provide responding solution to customer
Control quality to meet fit for purpose standard pallet and customer satisfaction
Regular randomly inspect repaired pallet condition in stock
Manage, develop and coach a team of Quality Assurance coordinator
Provide consultation in term of product quality control
Verify and analysis problem during repair process also uploading and unloading process
Prepare necessary equipment in field of quality control
• New pallet and timber inspection
Notification upper level when found improper quality timber received
Inspect new pallet and timber purchased from supplier, feedback unsatisfied received
• BER pallet control
Inspect incoming pallet return from customer, do claiming process within 3 days
Ensure BER pallet under 30 days is storage appropriately, able to inspect BER together with customer and prepare pallet ready to return per customer requested
Verify BER uncompensated pallet from production line then get approval for further process
• Organize the training courses to employees the performance of QC team. Do procedures, guidelines for quality management, dissemination of regulations to the relevant departments.

LEADERSHIP REQUIREMENTS:
• Manage, measure and control performance of subcontractor, operational resources and operational performance
• Demonstrate role model leadership and behaviour that support operations objectives
• Communicate, assign and motivate operations staff and resources by providing a clear understanding of objectives
PERFORMANCE MEASURES:
• Effectively supervise operational team performance aligned to developed performance measures inclusive of periodic and annual performance appraisals
• Logical decision making on required circumstance. To ensure operational proceed properly
• Ensure continued performance of operational responsibility against established operations productivity target and organization objectives

Minimum 3 years experiences in operational or manufacturing environment
Previous QC experiences in a wood industry
Possess an openness to innovative ideas, able to demonstrate an ability to initiate change, demonstrate role model and influence other
Be a committed, self-confidence, and self-motivated individual with a proven ability to manage functional responsibilities
Possess a proven “hand on” attitude, leadership skill within an operational or manufacturing environment
Able to work under pressure
Service mind with strong analytical skill
Possess excellent communication skills with the ability to communicate effectively with people at all levels
Bachelor degree graduated in related field
