Qc/sourcing Manager Furniture (US Export)

An exciting opportunity to be part of a new project with huge potential. We are looking to use our extensive experience of working with US based corporations to build a furniture export business focused on the underserved SME market within US retail. We are looking for an experienced furniture professional to help us source and assess products in Vietnam that we can sell to the US market. We will be looking to take advantage of the many cancelled orders from the larger retailers globally to provide cost effective solutions to smaller retailers. This role will be key to the success of the project and help guide the strategy of the business moving forward. This role needs a very flexible role will involve:
- Assessing the quality and giving guidance on appropriate pricing for over stocked products on offer
- Performing QC activities on behalf on customers in the US
- Working with marketing and sales team to determine products and strategy for the US market
- Sourcing and building relationships with furniture factories across Vietnam
- Speak to US customers regarding technical aspects of products

- Minimum 7 years experience within the furniture manufacturing market in Vietnam in QC and sourcing roles
- Experience working with US traders/retailers
- Full understanding of US furniture standards and requirements
- Available to travel Vietnam to meet with factories and suppliers
- Must be fluent in Vietnamese and English
