QHSE Coordinator

A. Overall Role Objective
The Quality Supervisor’s role is to increase the overall level of Quality Assurance at Manuchar Vietnam operations in order to ensure compliance to Manuchar, Insurance, Customer, business development and regulatory standards in support of the commercial team’s objectives.
In order to do this, the Quality Supervisor provides close support to the Vietnam QHSE Manager and Vietnam COO in the management of the Quality Assurance practices of the organization that includes;
1. Instigation and ongoing maintenance of ISO 9001:2015 certification,
2. Operational Risk controls & safety practices including injury reporting, audit, and training activities, where employee safety is paramount.
3. Continuous improvement via corrective and preventative actions and complaint management.
4. Responsibility activities related to Environment, Social responsibility and Employee welfare.
B. Responsibilities & Expected Results
The quality Supervisor’s specific responsibilities include:
1. Defining and updating operating standards/process controls - Support and coordination with the operational teams in the quality assurance activities related to Chemical and Grain products.
2. Assessing and monitoring systematically the extent in which the quality standards are met by our operations in compliance to Manuchar standards, Government and local regulations, Market segment compliance requirements and Customer requirements.
3. Prioritization of improvement activities within the organization that need to be supported in terms of improving quality of operations and defining the most cost-effective way to implement and maintain the required level of quality in operations. The prioritization of actions should further be based on the:
• Current level of quality practice
• Commercial importance (in general and in case of announced 3rd party audits)
• Size and type of project
• Compliance to regulations
• ISO standards
4. Guiding the Manuchar Vietnam employees, in implementing quality assurance processes including: ISO certification requirements, Policy & Standard operating practices/processes, NCR (non-conformance reporting) and a health & safety culture as well supporting the other departments in achievement of their organizational goals.
5. Support the Quality Manager for creating an adequate support infrastructure to monitor, manage and communicate all quality related matters to the Manuchar Vietnam executive management
6. Ensuring continuous enthusiasm, support and attention for Quality throughout the company in support of the Quality objectives
7. Support and assistance for the Vietnam Quality Manager and the COO for environmental and social responsibility activities & compliance
• Reporting on KPIs in relation to energy, waste, recycling and environmental topics to local, regional and global management.
8. Support and assistance for the Manuchar Vietnam - Business development teams
• Coordination of customer responses, quality/audit compliance requests
• Support of new projects/commercial responses to new clients.
