Qs Engineer (Budgeting & Costing)

- Aligned budget strategy, policies, processes across the construction projects
- Conduct the Value Engineering (VE) to optimize the construction cost to investors
- Make rough & initial estimation cost of new building projects based on unit price of other similar projects
- Study and seek of alternative materials with the same specification, standard to save construction cost
- Take responsibility for quantity and cost estimaton for construction projects.
- Conduct cost analysis, reports and value engineering on BOQ / Cost provided
- Conduct the cost appraisal, cost plan for feasbility study of new investment opportunities
- Propose the reasonable construction cost per m2 (CFA) to investors
- Check drawings in each design phase for Concept Design, Basic Design, Technical Design, Engineering Design.
- Precise estimation for new projects to support BD Dept to calculate the feasibility study to decide whether to invest or not
- Prepare and keep track all the Projects Budget including Bidding Budget, Initial Budget
- Review & advise on the construction cost to support the Bidding procedure

- Preferred experience in Real Estate investment / development area. Having been through some phases / full of project lifecycle
- Bachelor Degree in Construction Management, Civil Engineering, Quantity Surveying or any equivalent areas
- Proficient in English.
- Knowledge of Legal, Finance, Bidding in real estate industry.
- Working knowledge of Cost Appraisal and Cost Modeling for new project.
- Professional QS Certificate is preferrable
- At least 7 years of experience in construction budget establishment & management, costing & bidding
- High ownership to complete the assigned areas with limited guidance
- Working knowledge for type of contracts, construction contract terms and conditions, budget management and procurement
- Good communication, teamwork skills
- Good budget analysis / costing skills for various projects
- Excellent computer skillls: Word, Excel, Powerpoint, CAD, ...
