Ensure that products manufactured meet industry and global standards. Perform quality assurance and quality control tasks such as inspections, audits, and tests to determine production acceptability using pre-defined inspection techniques, sampling techniques, tools, and materials. Provide any and every assistance to build quality into our product.

Position Summary
Responsibilities
- Focus on new tooling and patterns during 1st day production.
- Provide continual training to factory staff on inspection and quality as needed.
- Establish and maintain a good working relationship with factory personnel to facilitate problem solving and effectiveness.
- Cooperate with planning and material teams to support factory in case there is any material delay, late ETA, and quality issue from suppliers. Resolve or escalate to line manager (if necessary) to avoid production disruption and shipment delays.
- Monitor and audit in-process production by confirming specifications and SOP’s, communicate required adjustments to production supervisor.
- Proactively communicate issues and corrective/follow-up actions, effectively and as often as necessary with factory management, and our own quality, engineering, commercialization and merchandising teams.
- Observe and report abnormal factory operations, i.e., line stoppage, strikes to your manager.
- Communicate any activities or conditions that do not follow our Code of Conduct detailed in our Social Auditing Program and our Restricted Substance chemical management program (CPSIA, REACH, etc.) to your manager.
- Sign all material and color swatches and factory test reports daily or as necessary.
- Daily audit Incoming Materials, Cutting, Stitching & Assembly lines, work with factory QA, QI, and all levels of management to analyze root cause of issues to continually improve quality.
- Approve finished products by confirming specifications.
- Complete AQL (ASQ/ANSI Quality Control Standards Z 1.4) final inspections; document or monitor inspection results by completing or reviewing reports and logs; input or monitor data within our Quality Inspection SharePoint database or the Pivot 88 system.
