R&D Engineer II

Support a global design team, debug Flow and Design issues, interface with foundries, configure the IP Project environment and design flows
Build productive internal/external working relationships
Design, develop, troubleshoot, or debug software tools and flows for the development of integrated circuits
Develop routines and utility programs to aid in the design of Integrated Circuits

Capability to produce adequate technical documentation
UNIX/Linux user knowledge
Experience in data management and job schedule tool like LSF/GRID Engine
Ability to exercise judgment within defined procedures and practices to determine appropriate action
2+ years of relevant experience
Proficiency with scripting languages to automate processes
IC design experience
Cadence, Custom Designer EDA tool usage
Strong desires to learn and explore new technologies and demonstrate good analysis and problem-solving skills
A relevant degree in electronic/micro electronic engineering or computer science
Experience in Python, TCL or Shell scripting
Good English communication skills
Good knowledge of hardware integrated circuits
Proficiency with at least one programming language
Experience with VLSI domain like familiarty with DRC/LVS Extraction/Simulation/EMIR
