R&D Engineer (Lithium Battery Cell)

Primary responsibilities
- The local R&D Engineers will work under the direction of our experts/ leaders
- You will be assigned a specific job that is based on your capability, potential & career expectation
- You will get some needed training courses in terms of lithium battery (fundamental to intensive)
- Performing other functions as required to support the R&D operation

- Ability to execute experiment in a chemistry lab and operate electrochemical testing equipment is a plus
- Knowledge and hands-on experience with analytical instrument such as XRD, TGA/DSC, EIS, SEM/EDS and ICP is highly desirable.
- Successful candidates will be both quality and detail oriented, be team oriented and flexible. They will possess good interpersonal skills, be proficient in written and verbal communication and be able to interface with co-workers and management.
- Familiarity with Design of Experiments and statistical method/tools is a plus.
- Experience with batteries or electrochemical systems is a big plus.
- You are expected to be a quick learning & agile person
- Proficiency with Microsoft Excel and knowledge of other office software.
- Bachelor’s degree in Chemistry, Materials Science, Chemical Engineering, mechanical, electrical & electronics or related field. Master of Science is preferred.
- English ability is compulsory (both verbally & written)
