Regional Demand Planning Manager

ABOUT YOUR ROLE:
You will be responsible for all forecasting activities associated with customers and products. You will create and maintain forecast models for multiple product lines, incorporating business intelligence and forecast information gathered from sales, marketing, finance, and other sources. This role leads the dialogue each month with key counterparts in Sales and Marketing to gain insights and works closely with the Operations Planning team to lead the regular S&OP process.
YOUR RESPONSIBILITIES WILL INCLUDE:
- Utilize a collaborative and consensus approach by working with Sales, Marketing and Customer Finance to obtain and ensure that current and accurate information is used for demand forecasts.
- Contribute to the monthly S&OP cycle, making sure all analysis, reports etc are up to date for the region and ready for use in GM Sign Off sessions.
- Contribute to the implementation of a new forecasting system to revolutionize the Demand Planning process, work closely with the global supply chain team on the SOP process improvement
- Build and maintain effective relationships with key stakeholders to ensure the latest information is always available to the supply chain.
- Interact with sales, marketing, and commercial finance to understand demand forecast drivers to ensure latest market intelligence is incorporated into the demand plan and sell through forecast.
- Deliver regular reporting and presentations to high-level executives.
- Responsible for the consolidation and validation of all forecasts aligning with sales budget, business needs, operational requirements and supply chain constraints.
- Active involvement in the definition of annual operating plan sales forecast and asset loading.
- Manage statistical forecasting process and propose and implement solutions to improve accuracy in demand forecasting.
- Coordinate cross-functional research activities to reconcile significant variances and refine the forecast model to reflect updated sales and marketing assumptions.
- Have regular sessions with Commercial to understand the forecast dynamics (eg; seasonality, pull forward activity, market conditions, competitive landscape, cannibalization), in order to use as a basis for the future forecast.
- Ensure all new launch factors are incorporated into the demand plan.

- Proficiency with forecasting and MRP tools.
- Self-motivated, results driven individual with a proven track record of process implementation.
- Experience in forecasting and mathematical trend analysis.
- Bachelor’s degree in business, supply chain or related discipline. APICS certified preferred.
- Ability to work well in a team environment, facilitate meetings and influence others.
- Strong problem-solving and decision-making skills.
- Strong analytical, mathematical, organizational, verbal and written communication skills and detail-oriented
- High level of computer proficiency required. (Microsoft Office, Internet, Google Suite, ERP systems, etc)
- 6 years or above solid experiences with at least 3 years in managerial role in demand or supply planning.
- Know the nuances of statistical methods and algorithms involved in forecasting
