Research Analyst

Key responsibilities:
• Develop and maintain relationships with internal and external clients including but not limited to VCSC’s local brokerage and domestic and foreign institutional investors.
• Other tasks as assigned by the Head of Research.
• Perform equity research with a focus on the Energy sector, including determination of intrinsic and relative equity values of companies, and write investment recommendations and sector strategy reports.
• Engage in public relations and marketing activities to promote the company’s image and reputation including presentation to clients, in Vietnam and abroad.

Qualifications:
• Ideal candidates will hold CFA or MBA qualifications
• Work experience in foreign firms or overseas education desirable
• Bachelor’s degree (or higher) in finance, commerce, banking or economics
• At least one year of experience in finance with proven analytical skills. Direct working experience at a power company in a financial role and/or analyzing the consumer sector will be an advantage
