Strategy, Policies, Standards & Procedures:
Interface with various Heineken Opco Safety team and Local regulatory authorities to acquire knowledge about Heineken Safety & Security Strategy, Policies, Standards and Procedures.
Ensures that local plans, permits, protocols and standard operating procedures are documented and maintained as regulated.
Risk Assessment:
Communicate safety principle and safety behaviors on a regular basis
Define, implement, and monitor effective process of managing legal and Heineken compliance process in safety area. Integrate safety compliance management into TPM safety pillar.
Systematically revises safety compliance to assure all changes are reflected, uses and shares available good practices for continuous improvements.
Advise and coach on specific safety culture aspects such as Safety Pyramid concept, visible commitment, and leadership in safety from the top of the organisation to ensure a positive safety culture
Safety Compliance
Organization and people management
Effectively organizes the safety department and manages the Emergency Team Coordinator, First Aid Squad Coordinator, Process Safety Specialist, BBS Specialist and Wellbeing team, including recruitment, performance management and (career) development, according to the Heineken procedures.
Lead and coach Operational Risk Reduction (ORR) Project Program to eradicate the losses and sustain improvements.
Reviews the High-Level Risk Assessment and countermeasures.
Coordinate/ advise risk assessment process based on local laws and Heineken regulations.
Safety Culture and Behavioral Safety
Implement Behavioural Based Safety (BBS) program, taking into consideration the local culture based on HEINEKEN TPM BBS guidelines.
Creates ownership among line managers for assuring and sustaining compliance with local legal and HEINEKEN safety regulations, aligned with TPM Safety Pillar.
Ensure new regulatory, local and Heineken safety rules, standards and procedures are up to date.
Safety Training:
Periodically review HEINEKEN and local rules, standards and procedures and design training as necessary (content, audience, form, and frequency)
Act as a professional safety trainer by defining and delivering necessary training with high level content and quality as expected by safety professionals, local laws, and HEINEKEN requirements
TPM and continuous improvement:
Together with Leadership team to improve Safety Culture
Deploy Safety Saving projects/Kaizen.
Contribute to TPM by being a pillar leader of Safety pillar
Management of Safety Process & Systems:
Coordinate to achieve PSM compliance for the brewery as Heineken & Legal requirements.
Translate Local laws and HeiQuest standards into local procedures and instructions.
Translate improvements into the safety systems.
Safety Reporting & Investigation:
Gather appropriate information to assist in the accident investigation. Follow the accident investigation process based on local laws and HEINEKEN expectations.
Ensure all safety events that occur in respective business area are correctly and timely reported in the12Rules.com
Periodically analyse and interpret safety events, KPI performance and trends to advise relevant stakeholders how to mitigate the risk including their root causes and other relevant factors.
Communicate clearly about safety events, and lessons learned to support people’s awareness about existing hazards and their potential impact for employees, health, and life.
Equipment management:
Ensure training compliance accordingly.
Accountable for safety verification/calibration of all equipment/ devices as regulated by Law.
Safe Operation:
Serve as an advisor/consultant on safety and security policies and standards to ensure regulatory applicability.
Work as solution provider to safety and security problems.
