To provide overall leadership and management of the sales organization, which consists of strategic direction, account management, sales organization in the market and business generation. To market the hotels, all its outlets and sales points. To lead and direct the sales department to reach on maximizing sales and marketing trends, so that the highest profitability can be reached. To be responsible for overall sales performance.
Responsibilities
Complete all forecast, marketing reports on a timely basis
Plan sales coverage of all market segments according to a short- term and long- term plan
Carry out and implement the sales & marketing philosophy in accordance with the Hotel’s marketing plan and department budget.
Establish goals for all sales personnel and give guidance on how these goals can be achieved.
Implement sales and marketing SOPs.
Participate in internal and external activities that are judged as appropriate to enhance the prestige of the company; or broaden the scope of the company’s operations by fulfilling the public obligations of the company as a participating member of the community.
Sales call/trips
Make sure that joint sales call program is in place and watch after that effective selling time is being utilized
Evaluate new markets and their needs comparing these with our product and service.
Lead and ensure a smooth running reservations departments.
Know our product in intimate details and be aware of our strengths and weaknesses. Set program to overcome weaknesses and maximize on our strengths
Qualifications
Networking, negotiation & strong influencing abilities internally & externally
Solid understanding of travel industry in general and specifically of the distribution business model
Understanding of Hotel and travel agency distribution a plus
Delivery focused, ability to work independently
University degree / Bachelor Degree
Requires good communication skills, both verbal and written in English and Vietnamese
Good computer skills of MS Office, PMS
Must have 2- 4 years’ experience at a similar size and quality hotel
Able to set priorities, plan, organize, and delegate.
Leadership skills to motivate and develop staff and to ensure accomplishment of goals.
