Reception of customers
• Proper greeting of customer in showroom or field areas
• Introduction of self, offer business card
Analysis of needs and requirements
• Check, discuss and clarify needs by using questioning techniques (open, target and close questions)
• Provide estimates of product sales process (lead time for product arrival)
• Observe customer’s conversation to find out requests, needs and desires
• Based on needs analyzed, recommend a product that meets requirements
Product demonstration (static and dynamic)
• Discuss experiences with customer after static or/and dynamic demonstration
• Able to relate features to advantages and benefits for customers
• Provide proof of the benefits (e.g. test drive, literature, technical specs and data, etc)
Presentation of offer
• Present offer of the right match to customers
• Present other packages (e.g. in-house finance, insurance, used car trade-in, service, accessories packages)
• Discuss and clarify terms and conditions of offer (especially promotional offers)
Handling of objections/ difficult customer interface/ negotiation
• If terms are not acceptable to customer, counter offer within acceptance by company and approved by sales manager
Closure of sale
• Prepare all necessary documents
• Explain sales contract, record details properly and review with customer
• Obtain confirmation
Delivery of new vehicle
• Preparation of vehicle deliver documentation
• Inform all internal parties of schedule delivery (e.g. PDI, delivery bay, etc)
• Obtain receipt of vehicle by customer
Follow up after delivery, build and enhance customer relationship
• Reminder of service
• Plan follow-up after vehicle delivery
• Promotion of companies activities in relation to new product launch, car sales campaign and service campaign
Build and expand customer database
• Attend all sales and marketing activities
• Performing CRM (e.g. birthday cards, anniversary cards, etc)
• Perform all showroom duties
To be responsible for the cleanness and readiness of dispalyed vehicles
• Check displayed vehicle both interior and exterior to make sure they are clean and ready for start.
