* GENERAL JOB FUNCTION:
- Accountable for all process engineering activities in support of Production Preparation (PPD), the manufacturing operations, technical coordination
* RESPONSIBILITIES, DUTIES & AUTHORITIES:
* Main responsibility:
- To support operations to resolve technical issues by improving production processes and improving product designs, with the aim to improve capacity and reduce route cost, while complying with current quality standards
- Maintain a safe working environment ensuring all company and regulatory standards are achieved at all times
- To manage and review all operational process documentation
- To prepare mold, jig, tool, working instruction, counter sample, seal sample (as customer’s request) for every product.
- To supply the counter samples to Packing Team for packing / assembling/ carton/ loading’s confirmation.
- To manage and review PPD plan weekly, ensure the Aluminum PPD plan meet the mass production plan
- To send a changing suggestion of product to TD group to make ECO and to communicate on-time to BOM, PPM, and Production shopfloor about the change of material: update BOM and buy new material.
- To approve prepare all task related to prepareation to support mass production as smooth as well
- To co-operation with BOM/Production to approve capacity and route cost for each product
- To submit the counter sample to QC and QA for approval.
- To join the Product Techical Review with TD to review/approve new product to deploy it into mass production.
- To improve continuously the production method, machine and equipment to get higher production efficiency.
- To cooperate tightly with PPM-OM to know the Master Plan & Monthly Production Plan.
- To cooperate with Production shopfloor to do the problem solving in mass production.
- To be responsibility for set-up, maintenance and improvement of production lines
- To communicate with QAOM to share and get the approval for the quality issue of product.
- To cooperate tightly with TD group to make DFMEA (Design Failure Mode Effective Analysis) to define and take action with all risk related to new product
- Responsible for recruitment, performance reviews, and training needs
- To communicate with QC, QA, Production Unit to get new technical and quality information about the production technique, machine, equipment… which can be applied in mass production to get the higher efficiency.
- To review and approve ECO (Engineer Changing Order)
* WORKING RELATIONSHIP:
- Internal:
+ Working closely with Production team during mass production.
+ Communicate tightly with TD during the new prototype development and the mass production implementation.
+ Working closely to QC and QA in production activity.
- External: To be instructed in each special project by superior.
