Sea Logistics - Pricing Supervisor

You are responsible for providing leadership + direction to the pricing team in the setting of margins for pricing requests. This will be ideally across all trades, taking a variety of elements into consideration (market levels, industry specifics, customer requirements + price sensitivities) while trading off against procurement levels + internal policies to maintain a profitable gross yield.
- To develop pricing strategies by take lead on pricing + RFQ preparation + driving sea logistics procurement + carrier relation management, seeking mutual solutions for profit maximization.
- To cooperate with manager + colleagues to provide timely responses to rate requests.
- To maintain + strengthen carrier relationships on the most senior levels in your location.
- To ensure that databases are always up to date with most relevant pricing information.
- To seek out customer feedback to drive improvements.
- To ensure full transparency + sharing of same current freight rate levels with CCLs.
- To get involved + assist business owners for non-standard RFQ related requests.
- To support + exchange information with others to gain new, retain + further develop existing accounts.
- To set selling prices within given bandwidths as per local conditions + pricing policy.
- To direct the organisation to book shipments based on carrier agreements or lowest cost.

- Good at Analytical & Organization skills.
- Bachelor Degree in Economics, Import/ Export, Logistics, or related fields
- Good at leadership, communication, conflict resolution, problem solving & time management skills.
- Having 10 years in of forwarding logistics companies and 02 years working experience in the same position
- Having good knowledge of foreign trade, forwarding, import/ export process and custom
- Customer orientation
- Experienced in dealing/ working with shipping lines
- Good command of English
