Seafreight Operations Staff

Job Summary:

• An immediate vacancy exists for the position of Seafreight Operations Staff employed to attend to operational & documentary procedures and requirements pertaining to global seafreight operations & logistics.

Responsibilities:

• Report to the Seafreight Manager

Key responsibilities:

• liaise with the suppliers / carriers in Vietnam
• liaise with overseas agents world-wide
• arrange bookings for all sea freight cargo shipments from Vietnam to global destinations-
• prepare necessary documentation for exports such as Bill of Ladings, special certificates etc as required -
• send Email pre-alerts to the oversea agents and/or consignees on completion of export from Vietnam - arrange statistics of completed export shipments with all details.

• Good educational background University graduate in Foreign Trade or similar curriculum.
• Degree: College/University.
• What we are looking for are such attributes as intelligence, honesty, integrity, preparedness to work hard, friendliness, ability to work amicably and cooperatively within a team of other motivated employees. 
• English proficiency is a requirement for this job and knowing another foreign language will be viewed favourably.
• Efficiency & accuracy in performing documentary procedures speedily and at times under pressure are expected.
