Security Manager

• Guest / staff incident report to General Manager and other related Department Heads
• Responsible for all guest/staff safety and maintain quality control in all security aspects.
• Maintaining records of all training, fire drills, tests and recommendations for improvements.
• Submit regular reports on safety hazards to Director of Operation/ General Manager with recommendation.
• Arranging with the Township Fire Bureau to participate in fire drill, that is carried out
• Familiar with handling all Crisis Management (Fire, Drowning, bomb threat, Injury, Earthquake, Storm)
• Carried out all other duties assigned by Director of Operations/ General Manager
• Evaluates on a continuing basis, the possible threat to security and make recommendation on policy changes if necessary.
• Listen to or once received the updated information of the town especially safety and security matters, must report to the Director of Operations and General Manager immediately as necessary
• Promoting safety awareness for all employees. Conducting refresher training as and when necessary.
• Mark recommendations for improvements to the Security management
• Conduct regular Department meetings and Daily Security briefings
• Organize security measure for VIPs, special functions etc. Participate in all guest/ staff activities by engaging in securing personnel.
• Take a leadership role in all emergencies and conducts regular fire drills to ensure all drills are carried out accordingly
• Review policies, procedures and instructions on a regular basis to ensure maintenance of the highest level of security and best possible state of readiness.
• Oversees the duty schedule and work cycle to ensure maximum departmental productivity.
• Direct investigation of all incident in the Hotel together with DHR for internal case, with Director of Operations for guests&039; issues
• Attends to guests/staff complaints personally, if necessary.
• Direct and implement training schedule for the staff

EDUCATION AND TRAINING: College degree or above LANGUAGES: Vietnamese
- Excellent level, written & spoken English - Good level, written & spoken
WORK EXPERIENCE IN MELIA HOTELS INTERNATIONAL (IN CASE OF INTERNAL PROMOTION): 2 year in the same position in hotels of similar category and services.
WORK EXPERIENCE IN OTHER COMPANIES (IN CASE OF EXTERNAL SELECTION): At least 2-year experience in international hotel at the same position
