Security Officer

Ensure that the security operation runs strictly and accordingly to the prescribed standards as laid out by the SM/DOS in his/her absence.
Get acquainted with the government, fire and police agencies; security consultants and security agency officers; hotel legal counsels; professional associations and any counter parts in nearby establishments
The ASM shall drive the security operation to the standards and quality established by the ASM.
Supervise sand ensure the effective and efficient operation of routine duties, tasks and functions.
Responsible for assisting the SM/DOS in the planning, coordination, organisation, associate supervision and quality controls for the security operation in order to effect optimum protection of guests, associates, assets (tangible and intangible.)
Assume the responsibilities of the department head in the absence of the DOS Ensure that all defined operational standards strictly maintained.
Adhere to and promotes the provisions outlined in the associates’ handbook and hotel code of ethics.
Operational performance standards
Attend all necessary meetings and disseminates all relevant information obtained to shift supervisors.
Facilitate the continuing training and development of all associates
Management of confidential security personnel files
Daily manpower resource planning
Safeguard all information relating to hotel, guests and corporate.
Projects an impeccable professional, confident, efficient and reassuring image to all hotel guests, patrons, visitors and colleagues alike.
Drive the risk management program devised by the SM/DOS.
Monitor the running and reliability of all security system and equipment
Assume the responsibilities of a shift supervisor according to operational demands (accommodates supervisor’s AL, PH, day off, etc.)
Environmental care by reducing waste supplies and materials by re-using, recycling, or selling; conserves water and energy at all available opportunities and maintain clean surroundings of all hotel areas, including the security control room.
First aid and fire fighting of associates
Comply strictly to the hotel codes of conduct.
Act as a perfect role model to all security supervisors and officers – lead from the front – carry out all duties to a high standard as a constant demonstration of example.
Shift supervisor reliever

Experience in 5-star hotel is desirable.
Fire Safety, First Aid & Security Officer Certificate is required.
4 years work experience in the security/safety field or 4 years work experience in the hospitality field or a combination thereof.
Statement of honest and no criminal record
Good general education, preferably University graduate.
Possess some previous supervisory or management level work experience
