AS A SENIOR ACCOUNTANT, YOU WILL BE RESPONSIBLE FOR:
Revenue and account receivables
- Plan courses of action to collect outstanding payments.
- Prepare reconciliation minutes and issue sales invoices in accordance with prevailing regulations.
- Manage account receivable aging report and cash collection from revenue.
- Liaise with other divisions to find out reasons for the discrepancy between merchants’ figures and ours, and negotiate with merchants to reach an agreement.
- Follow up with the Merchant Success team to do sales reconciliation for new merchants properly.
- Perform sales reconciliation: based on contract terms, periodically extract raw data from the internal system, calculate revenue and provide merchants with sales reports in order to get their confirmation.
Expenses and account payables
- Verify payment request forms and supporting documents in line with company policies, accounting principles, and tax regulations.
- Review account payables to ensure payments are timely and accurately processed.
- Solve payment issues and appropriately feedback stakeholders regarding their requests and questions.
Other tasks
- Perform other tasks required by the direct supervisor.
- File accounting documents properly for audit and tax inspection.
- Contribute ideas and actions regarding the establishment and continuous improvement of accounting processes and policies.
- Be able to work in various accounting and financial aspects for a start-up such as taxation, banking, cash flow management, internal control, and accounting software systems.
