Financial Accounting
- Support External Auditor in auditing activities.
- Record, reconcile and report transactions of the policy (premium, claim and policy benefits, surrender withdraw, funds switch and withdraw, allocation/non-cashflow...), asset allocation of Unit Link&039;s funds (policy level and sub-fund level), mandated accounts, (net) assets and liabilities of Unit Link&039;s funds, funds valuation/pricing, performance of Unit Link&039;s funds General Ledger
Financial period closing
- Execute accounting period closing activities (by weekly, monthly, quarterly and year-end basis) [for specific areas given by the line-manager(s)]
- Prepare the reports of policy&039;s funds, policy&039;s transactions; and support preparing regulatory financial reports
- Provide accounting information/data for MBAL&039;s reports to the Performance Management Department, Investment Management Department and Actuary Domain.
Cash and bank transfers of the policy&039;s funds and transactions
- Prepare bank transactions, manage cash-in, compliant with internal guidelines for Unit Link&039;s funds, and policy, relevant regulatory, statutory and other legislative requirements.
Project involvement
- Actively involve in Projects for Insurance Products and Funds as planned and assigned.
Miscellaneous
- Support the development and maintenance of the MBAL’s internal control framework, process and procedures manual
- Other tasks as assigned by the Chief Accountant and (co) line-manager(s).
