Senior Backend NodeJS Dev. (JavaScript)

With the mission to "Help Vietnam Eat Better and Live Better," Lixi Technologies currently own and operate two lifestyle platforms:

Diadiemanuong.com (DDAU) was the first Food & Lifestyle review forum in Vietnam, established in 2010. As of 2018, DDAU is the second biggest community, helping millions of users to discover and review tens of thousands of F&B merchants in Vietnam.
Lixi App is the e-commerce platform for services, established in 2018. Lixi offers multiple Online-to-Offline (O2O) services, including E-voucher, Cash Rebate, and Food Delivery.

This is an excellent opportunity for you to be a key member in helping the organisation to define the vision, set the strategy and execute the product road map.
Key Responsibilities:

Leads the technical planning, user story creation, technical acceptance creation and coding of a project
Interact with business stakeholders and guide them through decision making, determine best approach, provide time and cost estimates and develop high quality solutions using NodeJS and Authentication
Guide and manage other developers that are contributing code to the project
Estimate the level of work of development tasks within a project
Review mockups and other artifacts
Identify and correct complex bugs and problems
Plan technical architectures that minimize or eliminates performance problems, complexity, or solution fragility
Quick thinking and ability to solve complex issues and problems

You want to bring new technologies, new processes and new philosophies to the table — and work with other senior team members to continually find better ways to do things.
You’re comfortable setting technical direction for a team and reviewing their output.
Have a bachelor&039;s degree in computer science, engineering, or information systems (preferred)
You have experience mentoring junior level developers.
Proficiency administering large databases (PostgreSQL AND MySQL)
You have extensive experience working in an Agile environment, and you are comfortable producing code based on user stories and not fully fleshed-out specs.
Previous experience with social sign-in and/or single sign-on authentication development and implementation
2+ years of hands-on experience with NodeJS
1+ years of hands-on experience with ElasticSearch, Redis
Must be a self-starter and enjoy working and mentoring in a team with other passionate professionals
Hands-on experience developing, releasing, and maintaining large-scale system and software applications (web/mobile)
Overall programming experience of 3+ years
