Senior Commodities Analyst (Energy, Metal and Agriculture)

JOB DESCRIPTION
* Collect and analyze market data
* Do insightful, in-depth research on daily market
* Attend relevant conferences and interview experts
* Review and develop market trending forecast, research material and write-ups
* Arrive at firm conclusions about market situation and trending
* Present findings and conclusions in written form, complete with rigorous citations
* Share analyses and debate conclusions with the trading team
JOB REQUIREMENTS
* Minimum of two-year professional experience as a commodities analyst or equivalent
* Preferred worked in same positions at International Banks, Global trading companies or Stock Exchanges Enterprises…
* Major in statistics, economics, mathematics or related degree
* Understanding of macroeconomics and microeconomics
* Analytical skills and financial knowledge
* Ability to synthesize complex ideas
* Keen interest in commodities and financial markets, economics, business, and technological advances
* Ability to work on a diverse team under deadline pressure
* Comfortable taking initiative and being resourceful/entrepreneurial
* Strong interpersonal skills
* Experience with Bloomberg terminal and/or CapitalIQ (not required but as advantage)
* Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and Powerpoint
* Able to travel frequently between markets to conduct the tasks
