(Senior) Data Analyst - Database Equity Research Analyst

• Preparation of tables for daily. Support data team on ETF product as necessary


• Support for a weekly strategy report – charts, tables etc as needed


• We are rolling out a generic earnings model – this needs to be completed, tested and maintained. Support requests – internal and external


• A lot more data analytics to assist in review quality etc of our research inputs as well as the management / Extraction of data from external database feeds.


• Help develop and make efficient our macro databases and their output.


• Work with Data team and hiring manager on a monthly chart book - this would be a major product for us when done.

• Bachelor’s degree in Mathematics, Economics, Computer Science, Information Management or Statistics/related field, or above.


• Fluency in written and oral Vietnamese and English.


• Highly active and good at collaboration, independent and teamwork.


• Proficient in business computing skills. Bloomberg Terminal, EFA, Fin pro, DataStream…


• Strong analytical skills with the ability to collect, organize, analyse, and disseminate significant amounts of information with attention to detail and accuracy.


• Adapt at queries, report writing and presenting findings.


• Technical expertise regarding data models, database design development, data mining, and segmentation techniques.


• Strong knowledge of and experience with reporting packages (Business Objects etc), databases (SQL etc), programming (Python, VBA, R, ETL frameworks, SQL, My SQL, SAS based program).


• Knowledge of statistics and experience using statistical packages for analysing datasets (Excel, SPSS, SAS, STATA, EVIEW, Alteryx, Tableau, etc).
