Senior Database Engineer (MySQL, Rds, Aws)

- Coordinate with System team:

Administer the database system of applications/software: MySQL/MariaDB, DynamoDB, ...
Install and build database system for all company&039;s applications

- Coordinate with Developer team:

Optimize system, database query (SQL query)
Be involved in analyzing and designing the database for the system.
Create, modify and adjust store procedures, functions, triggers, indexes... to fit the function
Provide guidance and support to Application Developers
Upgrade and improve application schema and data upgrades
Assist with schema design, code review, SQL query tuning

- Ensure periodic backup, data recovery
- Work with team, coordinate with other members to solve problems.
- Troubleshoot database system problems
- Support the implementation of requirements affecting database systems.
- Monitor anomalies of the database system
- Develop the instruction for incident handling, maintenance, information rescue, standardization of processes and regulations on operation and exploitation
- Research new solutions and features, implementing new projects related to database.
- Perform additional duties as required by Line Manager.
- Prepare reports and data queries for the company&039;s reporting needs.

5 ++ years of experience in database administration or relevant positions
Experience in integrating, designing/implementing, optimizing system
Ability to work independently while using discretion in decision making and sound judgment in problem solving.
Knowledge of SQL optimization
Bachelor&039;s degree in IT/Computer Science, or equivalent educational background
Be integrity, careful, accurate
Having certificates of database industry is a plus
Be proactive, enthusiastic, hard-working
Knowledge of database: Oracle, MySQL/MariaDB, PostgreSQL, …
Ability to planning & organizing, problem solving, especially in emergency situations
