Senior Development Executive (Furniture/ Home Decor)

*** JOB SUMMARY
Senior Development Executive is mainly responsible for developing furniture and home decor products.
He/she is also in charge of other tasks as assigned by line manager and coordinates with related functions to fulfill orders.

Customize designs following Customers or architectures’ request
*** JOB DESCRIPTION
Develop furniture and home décor products
• Carry out/make report for needed tests in order to ensure products’ quality and functions
• Make sure samples are delivered at right time following collection plan.
• Handle all new development activities, including but not limited to: designs analysis, product risk assessments, preventive and corrective action plan, create and control all the product specifications for furniture and home decor.
• Make sure information is well convoyed and accurate for mass production.
• Set up and maintain technical documentation to transfer to production/suppliers.
• Coordinate with designers and suppliers to proceed needed activities from designs to sampling/ new product developments.
• Collaborate with QA/QC and supplier to build quality standard for new products.
Customize designs following customers or architecture’s request
- Coordinate with salesmen to customize designs upon customers/ architects’ requirements
- Collaborate with suppliers to finish the products.
- Collaborate with architect to develop their designs.
Other tasks as assigned by line manager

- Education: Bachelor degree in Design, Interior design or related fields
- Major: Engineer or Designer
- Knowledge:
+ Good command of English to directly communicate with foreign designers.
+ Knowledge in lacquering process is a plus
+ Using basic drawing software (Corel, Autocad, Illustrator…)
+ Understanding about Vietnamese craftmanship is a plus
- Skills: Solid Interpersonal and Analytical skill, Negotiation skill, Data driven approach skill
- Competences/ Attitude: Problem solving ability and Logical thinking
Attention to details, Able to work under pressure and meet deadlines
- At least 2 years’ experience at the same position
