Senior Executive (Legal and Compliance)

- Draft / review and participate in the negotiation of commercial contracts / agreements and ensure documents comply with Company regulations and prevailing laws of Vietnam.
- Prepare and standardize internal legal documentations and procedures.
- Provide legal advices on legal matters/projects/transactions of the company, and cross functional departments to ensure that the business’s legal and overall objectives are met;
- Ensure statutory / legal compliance and other legal matters in business operations in consultation with line/functional Departments.
- Compile dossiers, documents and official letters as requested by the Head of Legal & Compliance
- Liaise with relevant departments to ensure that where legal risks have been identified, appropriate courses of actions have been taken.
- Continuously monitor and update changes in applicable laws and regulations, gather information from relevant sources to assess potential impacts and identify risks, necessary changes and business opportunities.
- Conduct internal training on issues regarding laws, regulations, contracts, etc.
- Consult to prepare legal documents, participate in resolving/litigating/settling disputes of interests between the Company and its partners and/or employees.
- Involve in drafting, revising, formulating, updating and implementing the Company’s internal regulations, policies/procedures to ensure compliance with applicable laws and regulations.
- Support to prepare and administer the internal compliance rules, code of conducts, handle all compliance enquiries as required
- Monitor and identify possible areas of compliance risks and follow-up corrective action plans for resolution of current and potential risk.
- Other legal and compliance assignment as requested by HOD and Management from time to time

- Bachelor Degree in relevant disciplines.
- 3-5 years of working experience a law firm, in-house legal counsel or or similar roles in MNC, preferably insurance sector.
- Knowledge in insurance laws and insurance operation, practices, policies / procedures.
- Fluent English, both spoken/written.
- Strong PC skills with common MS office package (email, words, excel, PowerPoint…).
- Good interpersonal and communication skills with the ability to interact professionally and effectively with internal/external clients and stakeholders.
- Team player, well organized, client focused and results oriented approach.
