Senior Frontend Developer

You will work with us to build websites with millions of views per month for well-known brands worldwide.
Your main responsibilities include:

Work closely with the team leader and project manager to ensure your projects are on track.
Turn designs into responsive, functional, and accessible frontend components.
Learn and ensure best practices in terms of accessibility, performance, and code standard.
Work with technical lead to research and stay on top of front-end web development best practices.

You write maintainable code that is well thought out and can be reused across multiple projects.

You have a keen eye for details and can interpret design requirements into front-end code precisely.
You do your own QA before asking the team leader for code and frontend review. You are also a team player who supports other teammates and happily train or guide less experienced developers.

Basic knowledge of code versioning tools such as Git with GitHub or GitLab, or BitBucket.
Experienced with templating languages, for example, Liquid, Handlebar, WordPress theme templates.
Experienced with CSS3 using Flexbox, Grid, Transforms, Animation.
Experienced with Javascript ES6 (without jQuery).
Can write SEO-friendly, semantic HTML5 code.
Extensive experience in responsive web layout
Must have work samples - Demo projects, GitHub, Code snippets, etc
Familiar with design tools such as Sketch, Zeplin, Figma.
Basic English reading and writing comprehension

The following skills are NOT REQUIRED, but huge bonus points if you have them (if you don&039;t, no worries, you&039;ll learn on the job):

Sass, Less, or PostCSS.
WordPress / Shopify.
JavaScript ES7/8/9.
Gulp / Grunt / Webpack / Babel.
Strong with VueJS / ReactJS
