JOB DESCRIPTION

Your designs will positively influence stakeholders around the region to create a better world.

On a typical day, you will have an internal meeting with the team to ideate a strong visual for a campaign or come up with a captivating concept for an explainer video. You might also find yourself rocking a publication in InDesign or enhancing a web page for our client in Adobe XD.

In short, the Graphic Designer will work under the Art Director on numerous communications projects with international development agencies. Our clients include the Asian Development Bank, the World Bank, the French Development Agency, USAID, and others.

ROLES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

To produce the best quality work, you are expected to collaborate closely with other designers, writers, and project managers, and report to and take direct requests from our Art Director.

In this role, you are required to:

- Work closely with the Art Director on every creative project.

-Understand briefs, project requirements, and feedback in English, to deliver on-brief work and

resolve client's issues precisely.

- Work to deadlines but still maintain a consistent and up-to-par performance.

- Be mindful, organized, and detail-oriented.

- Support other team members when needed.

- Take part in brainstorming and discussions and give out innovative solutions and ideas.

You are encouraged to contribute your ideas, express your creativity, and use your initiative to get the work done more effectively if the Art Director is well-informed of your plan/actions.

- 3 – 4 years of design experience (preferably in an agency/design firm setting)

- The ability to communicate well in English.

- The ability to illustrate in Adobe Illustrator and handle editorial design in InDesign.

- Know how to use Adobe Premiere and After Effects at a basic level to handle some simple video jobs.

- Able to work in Adobe XD, with demonstrable knowledge of UI and UX principles

- Be skillful with MS apps, especially Word and PowerPoint

- Must have an acute attention to detail and be able to work on multiple simultaneous projects

- A Creative Portfolio is a must.

PREFERRED SKILLS

- Graphic Design major from a reputable program is a plus.
