• Coordinate with the site teams to monitor and improve their HSE performance.
• Monitor all H&S KPIs, share H&S indices with the site teams and ensure continual improvement through utilization of various HSE tools, such as:

SIOPA through Line PPS
• Support the global and regional HSE in rolling out new compliance and best management practices and programs across countries and customer sites.
HSE reinforcement and development
• Support behavioural based safety training programs.
• Ensure that all the site teams (site crews, subcontractors’ workers and visitors) receive proper HSE inductions and adequate, necessary training to perform their job safely.
• Strong understanding of Risk analysis, Standardised Work Instructions and enforcing right HSE culture across the organization. Implements Site Safety Improvement plans and follows.
• Continuous upgradation of knowledge on various application processes of FC & AR.
• Drive comprehensive training agenda for management using both inhouse resources and external resources (if required).
Site support
• Visit all customer locations in Vietnam to grasp reality and spending effective/ constantly identifying and bridging the gaps aligned with site specific HSE plan.
• Ensure the necessary emergency preparedness at the respective sites:

Conducting emergency drill
• Inspect / monitor the site activities particularly during the difficult or hazardous work situations.
• Review and facilitate HSE resources in Vietnam including manpower, budget (Capex and Opex) and HSE supply chain to ensure effectiveness of HSE deliverables to business demand.
• Lead HSE initiatives in risk assessment of new / existing processes / work locations and participate in risk mitigation measures to prevent accidents, incidents and events that could harm employees and/or property of Vesuvius and clients.
HSE Compliance
• Provide direct support to Vesuvius employees on all matters related to industry HSE compliance, as well as specific client compliance or site-specific operating requirements.
• Provide guidance and advice on HSE management at all levels.
• Partner with Client HSE team to define and implement Vesuvius HSE initiatives, sharing best practices, develop safety culture and ensure compliance with group HSE policies as well as local rules and regulations.
• Provide technical advice on all relevant HSE issues to the account team and on changes in legislation that will impact service delivery.
• Deployment full control mechanism of every business location to ensure compliance level of all applicable group HSE standards.
GSA management and incident investigation
• Ensure that HSE accidents, injuries, near misses/good catches, and other events are captured, and the data is managed and reported.
• Conduct annual GSA at all customer sites based on group standards.
• In case of high risks scenarios, treat such scenarios very fast, resolve it engaging right stakeholder proactively to prevent business failures.
• In case of accident / DO, lead the respective site team to ensure compliance with 8D PPS method.
