Role Overview:
As a Senior Interior Designer within our internationally renowned hospitality interior design studio, you will be a key creative leader responsible for developing and delivering world- class interiors for luxury hotels, resorts, and F&B venues across global markets. You will oversee all aspects of the design process from concept through to completion, working closely with internal teams, consultants, and clients to ensure design excellence and project success. This position requires a high level of creativity, technical acumen, project management skills, and leadership capabilities to mentor junior designers and drive innovation within the studio.
Key Responsibilities:
Design Leadership:
• Develop original and innovative design concepts based on project briefs, market research, and global hospitality trends.
• Oversee the preparation of mood boards, sketches, material selections, color palettes, and presentations for internal and client reviews.
• Lead and drive the design vision across multiple hospitality projects, ensuring conceptual integrity and alignment with client expectations.
• Ensure brand alignment and storytelling are embedded in all spatial and aesthetic decisions.
• Guide the design team in translating concepts into detailed design development and documentation packages.
Project Management:
• Coordinate with cross- functional teams including architects, consultants, engineers, and contractors.
• Lead internal project meetings to assign tasks, track progress, and mitigate risks or delays.
• Ensure that all project documentation is produced to the highest professional standards.
• Manage and oversee the interior design process from concept to installation across several concurrent projects.
• Monitor timelines, budgets, resource allocation, and deliverables to ensure efficiency and quality.
Client Relations:
• Develop and maintain strong relationships with clients, fostering trust and repeat business.
• Align client goals and operational needs with the creative and functional direction of the design.
• Conduct client meetings and presentations to review concepts, gather feedback, and obtain approvals.
• Ensure all communication is clear, timely, and professional to represent the company’s values.
• Serve as the primary point of contact for clients on design- related matters.
Operational Management:
• Drive sustainable and operationally efficient solutions without compromising on design integrity.
• Oversee FF&E selection, coordination, and specifications in alignment with project standards and budgets.
• Interface with procurement teams to support ordering, vendor coordination, and delivery scheduling.
• Guide junior designers and project team members in day- to- day tasks and deliverables.
• Monitor compliance with local codes, accessibility, fire safety, and hospitality regulations.
Quality Control:
• Uphold quality benchmarks for materials, finishes, craftsmanship, and spatial detailing.
• Review design packages for accuracy, consistency, and compliance with project scope and brand standards.
• Provide clear direction and resolutions for site issues, RFIs, and change requests.
• Conduct site visits to ensure fidelity to design intent during installation and construction phases.
• Ensure post- installation feedback is gathered and integrated into future project improvements.
