Senior Legal Counsel

This role will be based in HCMC, report to Legal Manager
Role:
To assist Legal Manager for legal works
To prepare/review and manage corporate documents (including daily contracts) and ensure compliance status
To support the legal due diligence process by investor
To manage licensing for the project companies
Duties:
Assist Legal Manager to provide general legal advice, review legal documents, and other support to the construction team; and
Assist Legal Manager to provide legal advice, review legal documents, and support to other teams.
Review, negotiate and support other teams regarding daily normal contracts;
Assist Legal Manager to develop relevant templates for project development and operation;
Develop, perform, ensure, and maintain compliance status and corporate governance of the companies in SLP Group, including but not limited to prepare, review and manage daily corporate documents and seals, develop relevant policies and ensure the companies’ compliance to the policies and Vietnamese laws;
Prepare/review, submit, follow up with competent authorities and manage the process for licensing matters of the companies in SLP Group;

• Bachelor’s degree in Law qualified as lawyer or trainee lawyer is a preference;
• At least 4 years of experience working at well-known local/ international law firms;
• Analytical thinker with strong conceptual and research skills,
• Can work under pressure and meet deadlines;
• Capable networker with excellent interpersonal, communication and public speaking skills
• Experience in corporate compliance, legal due diligence, licensing procedures, construction contracts. Experience in (industrial) real estate M&A, deal structure, leasing T&C Real Estate is a preference.
• Natural leader who displays sound judgment and attention to details
• Proficiency in English writing and speaking, proficiency with MS programs;
