Senior Manager, Mechanical Engineering

LOCATION: VSIP1, Thuan An City, Binh Duong Province
II-VI INCORPORATED (VIETNAM): SENIOR ENGINEERING MANAGER (MECHANICAL ENGINEERING)

WHAT YOU WILL BE ACCOUNTABLE FOR:
- Working with designer/customer to review/discuss for implement the knowledge into new products and processes
- Working as an expert in mechanical processes in manufacturing
- Working with international experts to assist with process development support and contribute new process development strategies
- Leading a diverse group of teams made of different technical backgrounds and expertise to troubleshoot process and product-related problems
- Reviewing of process data to do analysis and run complex tests using Design of Experiment principles to investigate the root cause of issues, then lead teams to propose solutions to management teams with follow-up action to take to fix the issues technical in nature
- Observing the manufacturing processes and interacting closely with operators/engineers in cooperative manner to learn and propose a technical project to undertake for process understanding and robustness development

- Ability to anticipate and handle multiple programs and priorities.
- Knowledge of profile to melt/bond copper to ceramic surfaces is preferred
- Candidates with experience working in semiconductor manufacturing are preferred
- Experience: Typically requires a minimum of 10 years of total related experience
- Knowledge of extremely high-temperature furnace is preferred
- Strong analytical/problem solving/troubleshooting skills
- Ability to solve problems in a timely and quality manner
- Knowledge of Wire saw/ID saw processes and mechanical assembly
- Good interpersonal, communication, and presentation skills
- Background: Mechanical, Engineer Material Science or equivalent experience
- Proficient in English
