Senior Merchandiser (Garment)

Assist in supervising the team to enhance service delivery and operation efficiency
Source and negotiate with suppliers to achieve competitive prices, deals & terms
Manage Product Development and Production to meet customers’ requirements and compliance standards
Perform other duties as assigned by Management
Develop solid network with suppliers&039; and maintain long term partnership with the customers, mills and factories
Assist in establishing and enhancing business relationships with customers through provision of quality customer service to maximize business growth
Build and maintain a strong local and regional vendor network to meet customers’ current and future business needs
Assist in supervising the team’s merchandising activities in the entire order process to ensure customer satisfaction and on-time delivery
Assist in building and maintaining a strong vendor network for product development and production
Involve in the product development process to ensure that products meet customers&039; quality and budget requirements
Manage projects from Sourcing, Product Development till Production, Shipment in merchandise process
Participate in price negotiation and liaison with vendors or suppliers
Provide solutions and support to ensure smooth production and manufacturing process
Supervise vendors/ factories in the entire order process to ensure customer satisfaction and on-time delivery

Able to work under pressure, result oriented, excellent communication skills, self-motivated, responsive and detail minded
Diploma or Degree in related field
Minimum 5 years&039; relevant experience in the same position in vendors/ agents
Occasional travel may be required
Knowledgeable in Microsoft Office programs/ERP system
Strong product and material knowledge with good development skills, and familiar with merchandising and product development process
Well organized individual, able to manage multiple tasks, strong problem-solving skills, able to meet deadlines
Proficient in English (written & spoken)
Ability to build strong relationships, communicate effectively with internal and external parties
