As a Senior Mobile Quality Engineer, you will join a talented and committed Quality community, passionate about delivering a high-quality experience for our customers. Join our Agile Engineering team and manage the test execution for the team while coaching a quality mindset within the team. To be successful in the role you will need to demonstrate proficiency in mobile test automation and testing tools. Also, having a solid understanding of the testing methodology and be a champion for best practices technologies.

What will you be responsible for?

• Code automated tests during build and regression test phases
• Implement shift-left testing, automation first to test early and often
• Define, observe, analyze, and report on key QA Metrics using bug tracking systems (JIRA)
• Create test plans, execute test cases, and prepare test summary reports for features being built in your team or across multiple teams
• Solve defects by identifying problems and corrective actions to assist the software engineers to resolve defects effectively
• Contribute to Agile practices and Automation for stories in sprint delivery by integrating into CI/CD pipeline
• Contribute to support Quality Engineering practices
• Review solution documentation, and assist with the analysis and testing of issues
• Influence your team to think of Quality first, conduct testing training to empower Software Engineers to a level of sufficient testing skills

Must-have Skills:

• At least 5 years of hands-on experience in Manual & Automation testing
• At least 3 years of experience in Mobile Automation testing
• Experience with any programming languages for Automation testing
• Experience with Automated Cloud Testing platforms (e.g. Perfecto, Browserstack)
• Familiar with GIT flow and CI/CD (e.g. Jenkins)
• Experience with test management tool (e.g. QTest), JIRA, Confluence
• Expert in Mobile native app testing, both Manual and Automation Testing based framework (e.g. Appium / Expresso/ UIAutomation)
• Experienced in creating automation test cases using the page-Object model, Ability to implement automated test cases in a well-structured manner
• Solid knowledge of testing methodologies covering all test levels, static test, and dynamic testing
• Ability to work in an agile environment, dynamic, and continuously changing
• Ability to work in cross-functional teams
• Strong English communication & problem-solving skills

Nice-to-have Skills:

• SonarQube, Gradle, JFrog
• PACT, Postman, REST Assured, TestNG, Selenium, JMeter or Loadrunner
• Experience with Java or Javascript programming language
• Expert in Selenium Webdriver based automation (or other similar testing frameworks)
• Expert in API contract-based testing (e.g. PACT)
• Familiar to Visual UI Testing frameworks (e.g. Applitools, Sikuli, Percy)
• Exposure to AWS and cloud-native architecture
• ISTQB – Certified
• Experience in the Banking or Financial Services industry
• Familiar with Accessibility Supports
• Understanding wireless technology (e.g. 3G, 4G, CDMA, and LTE)
• Mobile operating system knowledge (e.g. iOS, watchOS, Android)
