Senior Payable Accountant

JOB PURPOSE
Provide accounting record to ensure efficient, timely and accurate payable accounts of British University Vietnam.
AREAS OF RESPONSIBILITIES
Account payables:
• Keep track on payables of Business operation and Construction of the university (Phase II of the project).
• Review all invoices and supporting documents to ensure documents are in line with company policies and procedures prior to payment to vendors.
• Support Chief Accountant to prepare month-end report.
• Maintain files and documentation thoroughly and accurately in accordance with company policies and accounting practices.
• Performance daily payables transaction booking on accounting system.
• Authorize approval of payment runs and account reconciliations.
• Reconcile vendor statements, bank statement and correct discrepancies.

REQUIREMENTS
• Good English skills.
• Fluent in computer skills: Ms. Word, Ms. Excel & PowerPoint.
• Prefer experience in managing construction payment.
• Bachelor’s degree in finance/ accounting/ economics.
• At least 2-3 years of experience in accounting or in similar position.
• Knowledge of Vietnamese Accounting and Tax laws.
